St. Thomas is an NCAA Division I school and a member of the Summit League, Pioneer League in football, the Central Collegiate Hockey Association in men's hockey, and the Western Collegiate Hockey Association in women's hockey. St. Thomas offers competition for men and women in 22 varsity sports. Not an athlete? Come to a game and cheer on the Tommies!

Changemaking and Ashoka U
Changemaking is positive societal impact that can be achieved in many ways by one student, faculty, campus, or college to ignite positive social change in our community. In 2017, St. Thomas became the first in Minnesota to receive the distinctive honor of being named a Changemaker Campus by Ashoka U, a global consortium working to inspire a culture of social innovation in higher education.

create[space] is a hub of creativity, innovation, and collaboration. It is a place for the St. Thomas community to experiment and flex their creative muscles, to highlight talent and resources from across the university and in our local community, and a place to facilitate connections. Equipment available in create[space] includes 3-D printers, sewing machines, virtual reality, Mayku form maker, Glowforge laser cutter, vinyl cutters, a SMART board, and whiteboards.
Luann Dummer Center for Women (LDCW)
LDCW addresses the needs and aspirations of women on campus. It offers programs, scholarships, and events for students, faculty, and staff to enhance their academic experiences and provide opportunities for self-empowerment and professional development.
Music Ensembles
Audition to be a member of our award-winning ensembles. Choices include choral, instrumental, world music, jazz, and popular music ensembles, both large and small. Instrumental and vocal lessons for credit available.
Student Diversity and Inclusion Services (SDIS)
Promotes diversity and social justice awareness for all students through personal interactions, leadership and training opportunities, and various sponsored and co-sponsored educational programs. SDIS offers scholarships, mentor programs, speakers, and training programs.
